No Final Fantasy XIII for PS3?

Upon hearing the news from Famitsu that there will be 3 new RPG titles (Star Ocean 4, Infinite Undiscovery, and The Last Remnant) from Square-Enix for XBox 360 but no mention of FF-XIII, I've checked their web site and found no information regarding FF-XIII for PS3 at all.

Is it possible that all future game development for PS3 have been cancelled due to their recent financial losses? At least there's a mention of The Last Remnant for XBox 360 and PS3, but the XBox 360 version is due for release in northern winter and no official date is present for the PS3 version.

I'm even beginning to wonder if Square-Enix even bother about PS3 and PSP. Apart from FF: Crisis Core, all the other games that they made are just conversions of their old games with a few touch-ups. FF1, FF2, FF Tactics, Star Ocean 1 & 2, and Valkyrie Profile are just some examples of these. I would say they put more effort for the Nintendo DS version.

 

New PlayStation Store

I would have thought that when Sony updated their PlayStation Store, they fixed the slow icon loading problem but they didn't. It seems to me that the original icons are much bigger than their rendered size and hence wasting a lot of time downloading them. Why can't they just have smaller icons like other web sites?

The store is still in the early days using the new design and it's in the right direction, so I'll just have to wait and see.

Final Fantasy XI

I don't know why but the guys at QJ.NET always seem to forget that Final Fantasy XI is also available for PS2. Sure, PS2 is so last gen but for completeness sake they should at least mention that.
